Addison Bennett
Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach - Offensive and Recruiting Coordinator
Addison Bennett joined the Grove City College Men’s Lacrosse team as an assistant coach prior to the 2023-24 season. Serving as the Offensive Coordinator and overseeing recruiting, Bennett joins the program following a successful career as a four-year player for the Wolverines.
During his playing career as a Long Stick Midfielder, Bennett helped anchor a Wolverines defense that won four consecutive President’s Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships. As a result, Bennett’s teams advanced to four straight NCAA Division III National Championship Tournaments. In his fifth year of eligibility (2022-23), the program defeated #14 Swarthmore College (Pa.) 18-17 in double overtime for their first-ever NCAA Tournament victory and a trip to the Sweet Sixteen.
As a player, Bennett graduated as the program leader in caused turnovers with 87, while adding 27 points (16G, 11A). He garnered All-PAC Honorable Mention in 2019 and 2021, Second Team in 2022, and First team in 2023.
Since 2021, Bennett has coached for Fellowship of Christian Athletes Lacrosse (FCA) at both the regional and national level. Bennett graduated from Grove City College in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. He resides in Grove City, PA.
Zac Jew
Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach
Zach Jew recently completed his sixth season as varsity assistant men's lacrosse coach and eleven season overall at Grove City College. He assists head coach Alec Jernstedt in all aspects of the program.
In 2023, Jew helped Grove City advance to the Round of 16 in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament as Grove City defeated Swarthmore, 18-17, in the tournament's Second Round.
Jew helped the Wolverines capture the inaugural Presidents' Athletic Conference title, as well as a trip to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament in 2019. Grove City also won the conference title in 2021 and 2022.
Jew coaches the goalie position group and oversees the in-game substitution box. The goalies have improved under his mentorship from an 8.26 goals-against-average and a .557 save percentage in 2019 to a 6.93 goals-against-average and a .614 save percentage in 2021. He has coached multiple all-conference selections.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jew oversaw the club men’s lacrosse program (MCLA) at Grove City College from 2011 to 2017.
He graduated from Grove City College with his bachelor's degree in May 2011. He also holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from California Baptist University.
